~ Motivational Monday #4~

This past weekend was General Conference.

It was wonderful! I was so uplifted and edified. I am so grateful to belong to a church where a living a prophet is on the earth.  A prophet who recieves direct revelation from our Heavenly Father and then uses that revelation to direct the church. I love the gospel! I love listening to General Conference every six months. One day, I want to go to Salt Lake and watch it.

I truly believe that miss so much when we sit and wait for the storm to pass. 
At the moment, I am waiting for when my husband gets to come home; however, I am trying to enjoy everyday till then. I want Hannah to know that life doesn't stop just because Aaron is gone. I want to enjoy this one on one time we have with each other : ) I know we will look back and treasure these memories together.

Clothing, Covering, and Linen in the Scriptures #2. Coats of Skin

Genesis 3:21 (Moses 4:27) “Unto Adam and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skin, and clothed them.” Notice who clothed Adam and Eve in their coats of skin? While Satan left Adam and Eve to make their fig leaves apron by themselves, God personally clothed them. In order to clothe a person in coats of skin ( presumably ) an animal sacrifice would have had to be made. There is tremendous symbolism in this with regards to our Savior, Jesus Christ. He would perform the ultimate sacrifice and inevitably die for our sins. His atonement is the only thing that will be able to truly "cover" our sins/mistakes. Atonement means to cover.
