FH & CFM
As I study the scriptures, I am continually reminded that the Lord is a God of families. Throughout the scriptures, we read about ordinary men and women who experienced heartache, loss, joy, miracles, and answered prayers. Their stories were preserved so future generations could learn from them.
The same is true of our families.
While most of us will never have our stories recorded in scripture, our experiences can still bless future generations. The challenges we overcome, the lessons we learn, and the ways we see the Lord's hand in our lives may one day strengthen our children, grandchildren, and those who come after us.
My hope is that these posts will help you see family history in a new way—not as another task to add to your to-do list, but as an opportunity to discover, preserve, and share stories of faith. Whether those stories come from scripture, a family journal, a conversation with a grandparent, or a simple census record, they can teach us about God's love and remind us that He has been guiding families for generations.
