Memory Prompt Monday
One of the easiest ways to preserve family history is to start with your own memories.
Each Monday, I share a memory prompt designed to help you pause, reflect, and record a small piece of your story. These prompts are simple by design because family history does not have to begin with old records, family trees, or hours of research. It can begin with a memory.
Whether you choose to write your answer in a journal, discuss it around the dinner table, share it with your children, or simply reflect on it for a few moments, you are preserving something valuable. The stories, experiences, and memories we share today help future generations understand who we are and where they come from.
After all, family history is not just about discovering the stories of those who came before us. It is also about preserving our own stories for those who come after.
simply click on the date or group and it will take you to the blog post for that prompt. Some prompts will come with a children's book that goes along with the prompt and an activity page.
