~ Blogmas Day Sixteen : Monkey Munch with Hannah and Brynn ~

Hannah loves playing with Brynn.
Brynn is Hannah's cousin and best friend.
Today we decided to make some Monkey Munch!!
This is a really quick and easy recipe, and great for children who love to help.

Ingredients :
* nine cups of chex cereal
we used rice chex but you can use your favourite or a variety.
* one cup of semi sweet chocolate chips
* half a cup of peanut butter
* quater cup of butter or margarine
* one teaspoon of vanilla
* one and a half cups of powdered sugar

step one ~ pour the nine cups of chex cereal into a large bowl and set aside

step one and a half ~ eat any cereal that didn't make it into the bowl

step two ~ in a small (microwave safe) bowl add chocolate chips, peanut butter, and margarine.

step two and a half ~ eat the peanut butter that is left on the spoon

and share with your best friend

yummy : )

step three ~ place bowl in microwave and cook on high for thirty seconds, then stir

place back in the microwave and cook for another thirty seconds, then take it out and stir again
repeat until the ingredients are melted and has a glossy look to it
once you are satisfied stir in vanilla

step four ~ pour the chocolate mixture over the chex cereal and stir gently until all the chex are covered in chocolate

step five ~ cover in powdered sugar
if you are more prepared then I was, place the chocolate covered chex mix into a gallon size bag, then add the powdered sugar to the gallon bag, seal and shake

step six ~ relax and enjoy
