Pictures of the Final Three Temples

Brigham City
this temple is stunning! You don't need to look up the directions because it is HUGE. You can see it from the freeway. It was hard to fit the kids and the Angel Moroni in the picture which is why the kids look so far away. . . . they were. It was pretty cold that day so we quickly walked around and headed on to the next temple

Facts about the Brigham City, Utah Temple

- The Brigham City Temple brought a stunningly beautiful change to the cityscape of Brigham City and gave great joy to the members of the church in Box Elder County
- The Brigham City Temple is one of few temples in the world with fruit bearing trees growing on the property. The trees pay homage to the surrounding countryside, where fruit orchards are abundant and make a large contribution to the area's economic industry. The peach blossom also plays a big part in the temples interior design. Notice the beautiful peach blossom window on the temple's exterior.
- You may notice the classic architecture and similar characteristics from the Manti, Logan, and Salt Lake temples. The landscaping was intended to reflect the same design
- The temple is across the street from the historic Brigham City Tabernacle, which underwent renovation as part of the new temple

Logan Utah Temple
This was the temple that I personally was most excited to see. I think it looks gorgeous and it is. I will say that it looked a lot smaller in comparison to the Brigham City Temple. The girls and I walked around the temple because Beck was asleep in the car (Aaron stayed with him.) It was a nice, cold, snowy walk. This is my new favorite temple and hope to go inside soon.

Facts about the Logan, Utah Temple

- the second temple built in Utah
- the only temple dedicated by John Taylor
- The five-story Logan Utah Temple was built entirely by volunteer labor over a seven-year period from 1877 to 1884
The exterior walls of the Logan Utah Temple were originally painted an off-white color to hide the dark, rough-hewn limestone. In the early 1900s, however, the paint was allowed to weather away, uncovering the beautiful stone that characterizes the temple today
- The Logan Utah Temple stands prominently on an elevated terrace—visible for miles throughout northern Utah's Cache Valley. Occupying an entire city block, the site features charming gardens and fountains on the east side and a huge grassy hill on the west. Just two blocks from the temple is the historic Logan Tabernacle, located on highly traveled Highway 91

Cedar City Utah Temple

This was the final temple on our list to see. I feel like we have watched it be built because you can see if from the freeway driving from Utah to California. It is beautiful (they all are.) The kids and Aaron weren't feeling well so we hopped out took a pic and hopped back in the car. We will go back again soon to walk around and really appreciate it.

Facts about the Cedar City, Utah Temple

- On April 6, 2013, during the Saturday morning session of the 183rd Annual General Conference, President Thomas S. Monson announced that a new temple would be constructed in the city of Cedar City, Utah. The Cedar City Utah Temple will be the seventeenth in Utah
One of the great temple hymns, High on a Mountain Top, was written by Joel Hill Johnson while living in Enoch, Utah, a suburb of Cedar City.
The angel Moroni statue was set in place atop the tower of the Cedar City Utah Temple on September 15, 2016, to a large crowd of onlookers.
